Willful is an adventure game that borrows elements from Mega Man, Metroid, and other classics from the 80s and 90s.
The Player takes up arms as a sacrificial offering named Will.
As the player explores the different areas in the game they can spend money on powerups and golden carrots which grant access to new worlds.
It's up to you to stop the reign of a mysterious entity named Behemoth, and his group of crazed followers!

This is excellent and very fun! I am stuck at behemoth JR. though. he is always just short of dying when i run into some purple blocks and he catches up with me. anyone have advice? also, i entered the large room with the four pink bounceballs (in the second-to-last world, the one with green star/pentagram blocks), and a bunch of purple blocks appeared by the exit, then i couldn't leave. is that a bug or am i missing something?
I beat this and it was all very average. Nothing especially bad (though I'd scrap the retrieve-money-on-death system, and the carrots behind asteroids in the final stage), nothing amazing (though I do like the level theme variety, and the number of bosses, and the main character sprites). A respectable, fully playable game that I won't remember in a few weeks.
Hi, I've been having a lot of fun playing this game and I got the good ending but I'm missing one carrot and its in narrows I've explored the whole place and I have a compos but I cannot figure out how to get up to it it seems to be past the wall in the room where you fall into a larger area, the rooms next to the red button. I'd really love any help
